Grand Opening of CBSE National Hockey Tournament 2014-15

^{The National Hockey Tournament 2014-15 was inaugurated at D.M.A., Rampur by Shri. Rajeev Ranjan kumar, DIG C.W.S-1 CRPF, Group Center, Rampur. The Principals from all the local schools also graced the occasion to boost the spirit of the competing teams.}

^{Even the cold and chilly weather of December could not dampen the spirit of the keen participants and enthusiastic audience. The players and students from various schools enjoyed a series of programmes amidst a packed gathering. ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Western Dance’, ‘African Dance’, 'Wave Drill' and ‘Bhangra’ performances mesmerised the audience. Dr. Suman Tomar, Principal Dyawati Modi Academy, welcomed the guests. All the teams from all over India presented a rhythemic march-past. After hoisting the C.B.S.E. flag, a collective oath was taken by all the players to abide by the rules of the tournament. The occassion was graced by Principals of various schools, CBSE Observer Sri Virendera Jaggi, Tournament Director Mr. Imran Ur Rehman. Fifty Teams from various schools accross the country including parents & teachers also witnessed the programme. Shri. Rajeev Ranjan Kumar addressed the enthusiastic teams and stressed on the need for healthy competition and playing in the true spirit of the game.The opening ceremony was a great success.}
